Vertical Marathon

I was very confident of getting top 5 with Relak Jack Johnson.
I was very confident of getting below 9 mins.
I was even more confident of beating Clarence.

But sad 2 say, i achieved none.

In some ways, i gained some, & lost some. Ive lost 2 myself, coz i thought i realie did poorly, way below my expectations. I failed in my'strategy', which i was proud of, but worst of all, i thought i dragged e team down. Relak Jack may say tat, "no lah, u r not Jessica", but consolation tat may seem, i feel tat im realie Jessica in this case, coz i was 2 overconfident.Perhaps, tats e reason y i lost, badly.

But its oso tis competition tat i realised Vanessa can be so fit, without training some more! OMG! She only trailed mi by 20 secs or so, so amazing.It was tis team tat gave mi e confidence 2 take part in e X Physique 2 weeks later, coz a team consisting of Clare, Chang & Vanessa is simply too strong.Hopefully i wont be Jessica again in X Physique yah.

I Salute Clare for coming in top for Relax Jack, Chang for his determination in training , Sanni for her Never-say-die spirit, & Vanessa for her remarkable feat.

I truly respect Relak Jack Johnson.

Interest Re-ignited

Ive always been particularly interested in UFOs, Astronomy, Supernatural encounters, Ancient Civilisations & the Chinese 5000 yrs of History. The last 2 interests have been re-ignited especially recently, due to a documentary on Discovery Channel.

After tat program, i had a sudden urge 2 find out more, to discover & seek knowledge. If only i had tis sentiment in JJ, then i wouldnt have been so lost in my life path now. I went on e net 2 search for sites relating to Egypt Civilisation, the Bermuda Triangle & then e Lost Civilisation: The Atlantis. So interesting, & i found out that although Atlantis may be a myth to many, some Historians & experts actually discovered tat Atlantis may well be in Asia, & not wat we thought it to be in e Atlantic Ocean. The more astonishing news is tat, it may be under where Indonesia is now! Unbelievable.

However, i dun seem to have a companion to share these interests with mi, so many turn away or feigned interest in listening, but i noe they arent. Its juz like u may have all e riches in e world, but if theres no one 2 share with u or no purpose for u 2 spent ur riches on, then everything is meaningless.

My 5th Aunt, may be tat only one or e very few 2 appreciate e beauty & wonders of e Chinese History:5000 yrs worth of memories & achievement. I had so much discussion with her during e New Year, my feeling was like, "Finally! Theres someone afterall!" Shes such a great appreciator of e Chinese Culture, so capable & so unexpected, i was truly surprised.

Now, in my free time(which is everydae), im looking for e books on e full China Dynasties, which many ppl told mi its very hard 2 find, but i will still try. E only reason i can think of for e book not 2 appear in Singapore, is there wont be ppl who will appreciate e book down here aniwae.

But i will & always will.

No not from a gal. From Starhub. Went for a job interview 2dae.

Got a call from a staff, telling mi to go for e interview on 7th Feb, 3pm, @ Starhub Ctr, 4th level, Har Par Centre.Got down 2 Orchard & Starhub Ctr, went to 4th floor,no Haw Par Ctr.Went to 7th level 2 enquire, only 2 find out tat i was in e wrong place, e actual place shd be Har Par Ctr @ Dhoby Ghaut, not Orchard. So asked e staff 2 contact e interviwer for mi 2 inform tat i will be late....

Got tere @ abt 3:40, so filled up e application form & met e interviewer.

A few qns were thrown @ mi. " We need ppl who can commit @ least 6 mths, can u?"
"Wat experience do u haf 2 relate urself 2 tis post u r applying?"
"Wat does punctuality means 2 u?"

The 1st qns, i answered frankly, tat i will not be able 2 commit. The 2nd qns, i told e truth, plus a little crap. The last qns, i simply told my truth. "In reality, punctuality means tat i have 2 be 5-10 mins earlier than e meeting time, say 3pm. But for my case, frankly speaking, if im tere @ 3:10 & no one else are tere, i consider myself punctual."

Dun noe how she thinks abt my ans, but she told mi 2 give up aniwae.

Then trained vertical marathon @ Boon Lay wif Relak Jack Johnson, quite fun, & New Year's coming, yeah, more $ coming in.
